This is the most sophisticated MPPT Solar Charge Controller and Light Activator offered by Solar Illuminations. This programmable controller regulates and manages the solar panel power, battery power, and controls lighting activation. It also offers a variety of unique features not offered by other MPPT Charge Controllers. It automatically recognizes 12V or 24V battery configurations and can handle up to 100V of solar panel input with a maximum of 10A. The light activator has multiple modes including manual on/off, dust to dawn, timer mode, and dual timer mode. MPPT Charge Controllers are typically 30% more efficient than a regular PWM solar charge controllers. This is the best technology for large solar systems requiring the most efficient technology.

We offer a choice of sealed lead acid batteries in a variety of different sizes, voltages and specifications to support most of the solar lights that we sell. This series of batteries are suited for our smaller floodlights, sign light, and Christmas light systems. If you are unsure on the correct battery type, use the information on the existing battery or in the product specification. Each battery is sold as a single unit. Battery manufacturers may vary.

This 12 volt 9 Amp/Hour seal lead acid battery is mainly used for our Balmorals series of solar lights. Each battery is sold as a single unit. This is a sealed lead acid battery suited for our Balmorals collection of solar lights. If you are unsure about the correct battery specifications, check the information on the existing battery, or check your systems specifications. Each battery is sold and priced as a single unit. The battery color and battery manufacturer may vary.
Solar Charge Controller

This PWM type charge controller is suitable for 12 volt or 24 volt DC panels and has a dual timer option. Rated at 20 Amp max. It can be used as a standalone charge controller or the solar panel can act as a photocell for controlled lighting use. This control module offers a dual timer mode which allows two on/off times per night, dusk till dawn, and standard single time mode. For example this control module in dual timer mode will allow a light to run from sun set for x hours (2-7 hours), off for a calculated time, and back on x hours (1-5 hours) before sun rise. The calculated off time is automatically determined by the charge controller based on the previous night’s characteristic.
